The technology uses the engineered viscoelastic properties of the implant to stretch and “inject” it through a tube, using new techniques to get it into position.
While not expected to be available in the US soon, this new approach could lead to smaller incisions, shorter surgeries, and less downtime. Dr. Schmidt is monitoring their developments. We’ll keep you posted!
